Suzie Richardson-Armas is the president and co-founder of the New World Health Foundation (NWHF), where she focuses on education, case management, and addressing issues related to HIV/AIDS. She is currently the COO of New Health Community Centers, serving Miami’s minority communities.
Born in Jean Rabel, Haiti, she pursued her passion to become a doctor, earning her Physician Assistant medical degree in Mexico and then her Master’s in Public Health in Florida. Specializing in HIV/AIDS cases, she became an HIV/AIDS specialist at the University of Miami. As a forensic examiner for Miami Dade County, she contributed significantly to the care and well-being of rape victims and is frequently called upon to act as an expert witness.
In 2004, she led Operation Jean-Rabel, organizing medical mission trips to rural Haiti and providing health services, scholarships, and community events.
In addition to her work with the NWHF, Suzie is a philanthropist, motivational speaker, and author of We Need More Than Sex: Building Deeper Connections in Love and Relationships. She encourages prioritizing deeper intimacy through more sex, love, and commitment to build lasting relationships that withstand the challenges of daily living. She lives with her husband and two daughters in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
